Prior owner’s name and date on FEP with remainder of interior unmarked; a few short edge tears and straightened corner bends; occasional smudges/age spots; pp. 182-3 has darkened areas from a former item being laid in; black & white photos. Chronicles Hudson Taylor, a British Protestant missionary who spent 51 years in China and who founded the China Inland Mission.
