Birn Brothers, London, no date.  Tall hard cover, 92 pages including Answers.  Illustrated front board, red cloth spine, plain rear board.  Edge and cover wear to boards, some marks on front illustration, age toning; corners worn with some loss of paper and board exposed; binding sound with a slight lean.  Illustrated end papers – front colourized and rear in black & white; some smudges and age spots; short edge tears and some losses in some margins; prior owner’s name and date of 1952 on front paste-down; one Picture to Colour has a bit of brown started; remainder of interior clean and unmarked; colour frontis by Lilian Rowles, illustrations in black & white and some colour.
