Goldsmith, Chicago, 1935.  Small hard cover, 116 pages.  Good plus; red boards with black lettering and decoration on front, black lettering on spine.  Binding sound; some edge wear, corners and spine ends bumped with some wear; old water marks on front and rear board but did not penetrate to interior.  Dust jacket has four corners clipped; shows edge and cover wear, small losses, edge tears, old water marks and stains, age spots, sticker ghost.  Gift inscription on FEP; remainder of interior clean and unmarked; pages browned but not brittle.  ‘A most delightful and chatty old owl tells two children a story in which the whole sky is the playground.  The stars and planets are the actors and they are made such interesting and human creatures that they are as real as playmates. … The author gives free range to his imagination and all the beauties of the heavens are visualized in glowing descriptions; there is delicate humor, little touches of satire, tender pathos, and best of all, suspense to the very end.’ (from front flap)
