Historical Publishing, Toronto, 1906, spine stamped Briggs as publisher.  Hard cover, 454 pages.  Acceptable; former library book with stamps to interior and number on black stripe on spine.  Brown cloth with colour paste-on illustration and embossed colour decorations; wear to all edges with some fraying and board exposed, some stains and soil; age spotting on outer page block.  Illustrated end papers with front and rear hinges split, text block secure to spine.  Sepia frontis with tissue guard intact and all other illustrations by C. W. Jefferys present.  Pages clean and unmarked, pages lightly tanned with occasional age spot.  Historical fictional account of Pontiac’s attempts to overtake the last two British forts in 1763.
