Olivetti, Milan, Italy, 1977.  Translated by Enzo Giachino.  Bilingual Limited Edition for Private Distribution, in English with Italian on facing pages.  Card covers with black lettering and colour illustration on front cover, black lettering on spine; affixed glassine cover.  Glassine cover has some soil and age spots, small tear at front mid spine area and short tear with small loss at lower spine.  It appears some of the age spots have penetrated somewhat to the actual card covers.  Outer page block is tanned with some foxing and small stains.  Binding is very sound.  Interior is clean and unmarked, profusely illustrated with colour drawings by James McGarrell.  Neither slipcase nor “Twelve Drawings for Walt Whitman” pamphlet present.  Twenty-five poems by Whitman in English with Italian translations, edited by Giorgio Soavi.
