Marshall Brothers, London, no date, but believe 1922.  Hard cover, 240 pages.  Purple cloth over boards with gilt lettering on spine; front board blind ruled.  Corners worn with board exposed; spine ends worn with short tears and small losses to cloth; spine faded and some spots on cloth; small tear to cloth at bottom rear edge.  Binding sound, some cracks but all pages securely attached.  Bookseller’s discrete label at lower edge near gutter and pencil erasure at upper corner on front end paper; one straightened dog-ear and small corner bends; ink smudge on p. 149 not affecting readability.  Pages are unmarked and lightly tanned; fox/age spots within and on outer page block.  Laid in is a double-sided paper, ‘Warning to the Unsaved / The Universality of the Atonement’.  “From the remaining unpublished manuscripts this volume has been prepared.  The book is, therefore, entirely new, not one of the sermons having been published before.” (from Publishers’ Note)
