Avon, New York, 1957, 1^st/1^st.  T-186.  Vintage MMPB, 158 pages.  Good; wraps show edge and cover wear, light creases and reading creases; short splits at bottom spine edges and small losses at both spine ends.  Binding sound with a slight lean.  Prior owner’s initials on first page; remainder of interior clean and unmarked with tanned pages.  ‘A man awakens with a clear memory of his date the night before.  He rises to go on about his business as usual – finds he is in a room he has never seen before.  He looks in the mirror … it is his face he sees, all right – but aged!  He went to sleep on May 15^th of one year.  He awoke the next day as expected – but eleven years later!  The woman in the bed beside him awakens also – in terror at the sight of him.  She too went to sleep on May 15. … Neither has ever seen the other in his life!’ (from rear wrap)
