Corners lightly bumped, worn with a bit of fraying. Spine ends bumped and worn with tiny tears to cloth; spine a bit sunned with some lettering rubbed away. No jacket. Interior clean and unmarked with moderately tanned pages. Set during World War I, the historical fiction novel takes place from December 2 to 10, 1917, and follows the main characters of Penny Wain and Neil Macrae, and includes the Halifax Explosion of December 6th, 1917.
