Cassell and Company, London, no date but believe circa 1928. Hard cover, 432 pages. Green cloth over boards, black lettering and decorations in ruled blocks on front board and spine; some edge wear; some discolouration on rear board. Spine ends bumped and worn with some small tears, losses and fraying; corners lightly bumped but show wear with some board exposed and a bit of fraying. No jacket. Prior owner’s name inked on front end paper; bit of off-setting to front and rear end papers; binding cracked at half-title page with webbing visible but all pages secure. Bright colour frontispiece by Charles E. Buchel. Interior clean and unmarked with lightly tanning pages; some foxing and bit of soil on outer page block.
