Decorative boards with corner and spine end wear, tiny tears to cloth with a bit of fraying; a few marks on boards; spine darkened. Binding cracked in spots with all pages secure. No jacket. Decorative end papers as well as the first several pages. Occasional small soil spot in interior, a few straightened dog ears; pages lightly tanned. Author’s last book, set in the 1920, about Jamie McFarlane, a wounded World War I vet, who helps an old bee keeper who is also ill, and eventually returns to health.
