The Bodley Head, London, 1989, reprint.  ISBN 0-370-30737-2.  Hard cover, 650 pages.  Very good; blue boards with gilt lettering and publisher’s logo on spine.  Very light shelf wear; spine ends lightly bumped; binding sound.  Dust jacket with price intact shows edge and cover wear, some short edge tears and creases; light scratches on front panel and a bit of sunning along bottom edge; more noticeable scratches on rear panel with a few impressions.  Interior clean and unmarked.  Edited by Hans Walter Gabler with Wolfhard Steppe and Claus Melchior and with a new Preface by Richard Ellmann.  This edition follows exactly the line divisions of the critical edition (Garland, New York, 1984).  Line numbers are provided to facilitate reference.  The lines of each episode are numbered separately.  The episode number is given at the foot of each page.  Very heavy volume.  Encompasses the lives of several characters during one day in Dublin, June 16, 1904.
