Sphere, London, 1974, 1st pr thus.  ISBN 0-7221-8326-7.  MMPB, 303 pages including Bibliography and Index.  Very good; light edge wear, creases at rear upper corner, tight binding, some chipping to colour on front appears to be from books being separated.  Interior clean and unmarked with tanned pages; black & white photo plate section.  ‘Harry Price was probably the most famous British psychical researcher ever.  His studies of the occult phenomena earned him a reputation as a painstaking scientific investigator whose findings threw new light on to a fascinating subject.  This biography examines Price’s life and work and a good deal of its findings had to remain unpublished until after the Ghost-Hunter’s death.’ (from rear wrap)
