Cambridge University Press, London, no date (Brooke Crutchley was University Printer from 1945-1974).  Cameo 16mo, refs, India paper; black Morocco leather, leather lined, black end papers; rounded edges; all edges gilt; black ribbon marker.  Spine lettering in gilt with 5 bands.  Good to very good condition.  Covers show a bit of wear at corners, spine ends and edges; outer edge gilt shows some wear.  Binding sound with headbands; bit of stress at prelims and New Testament.  Two small red marks on p. 767, hi-lite at Mark ll:24 which has leeched to verso of page; some light rippling/wrinkling; a few short edge tears; a few pages have tiny losses at bottom edges.  Old Testament 1109 pages; New Testament 339 pages; Weights, Measures and Coinage (by Professor Bevan) 3 pages; Bible Dictionary 160 pages; Concordance to the Old and New Testaments 152 pages; Coloured Maps 8 pages; Index to Maps 4 pages.  ‘Containing the Old and New Testaments Translated out of the original tongues; and with the former translations diligently compared and revised, by His Majesty’s special command Appointed to be read in Churches’ (from title page) BROOKE CRUTCHLEY, University Printer
