Gift inscription on FEP, newspaper clipping announcing author as new president of the Mechanics’ Institute laid in. Clipping had been pinned to front end paper resulting in some discolouration to front paste-down and end paper; pp 59-62 (one folded page) loose. Pages are clean and unmarked; some age spotting, primarily to first and last few pages. Collection of religious/Christian poems pertaining to the Gospels beginning with the Annunciation of Christ’s birth up to the Ascension after His death.
