Moore of Islington, Ontario, Canada envisioned The International Peace Garden to commemorate the long, peaceful coexistence of Canada and the United States.  The Garden, located on the border near Boissevain, Manitoba and Dunseith, North Dakota, was dedicated on July 14, 1932.
