King.  Hard cover, 416 pages.  Blue cloth with red lettering and green rules on front and spine; some rubs, and bit of discolouration to fore-edge of front board.  Corners and spine ends bumped with some wear; spine faded with some age spots.  Sound binding.  Outer page block tanned with a bit of age spotting.  No jacket.  Prior owner’s name stamped on front paste-down; initials and date plus name neatly inked on front end paper.  Remainder of interior clean and unmarked.  A scarce/rare first Canadian edition.  A young woman working for Security Alliance is to pose as a gem thief to infiltrate a gang of thieves.  But things go awry and she is suspected of murder.
